CodeDojo is a student club at the City College with a goal of bringing students together to learn basic website development. I organized technical interview meetings every Friday where we invited students to interview one and other members to improve problem-solving skills and practice public speaking.
SASE is dedicated to the advancement of Asian heritage scientists and engineers in education and employment so that they can achieve their full career potential. In addition to professional development, SASE also encourages members to contribute to the enhancement of the communities in which they live.
Tau Beta Pi (TBP) is the only engineering honor society representing the entire engineering profession. It is the nation's second-oldest honor society, founded at Lehigh University in 1885 to mark in a fitting manner those who have conferred honor upon their Alma Mater by distinguished scholarship and exemplary character as students in engineering, or by their attainments as alumni in the field of engineering, and to foster a spirit of liberal culture in engineering colleges.

An awesome research program that I was able to participate in. With great mentors from CS+EE+Psychology departments, I worked on the mobile app development for VISTA wearable, then I was fortunated to attend the ERN conference to present my poster.
Mentor of 6 engineering freshmen and transfer students to bring a smoother first year experience for them at the City College. Advised academic plans and organized the cultural diversity program, open house recruitments, new student orientations, and weekly academic & career workshops.

Inspected 144 nyc.gov websites to help reformat website accessibility for people with visual impairment. Created a website accessibility guide in compliance with WCAG 2.0 and Federal Standards Section 508 for NYC Department of Information Technology developers. Helped and organized the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities with the Disability Pride Parade, ADA Award night, DOT Tactile paving plan, and LinkNYC Accessibility testing.
Assisted the Pick Staff in the development, maintenance, and improvement of their MS Access Database and other computer products which led to efficient job picks and bids.
Developed software and design for wearable device to help people with visual impairment navigate city streets safely. The body sensors are activated to provide directions; physical stimulus preferred over audio direction since people with visual impairment heavily rely on hearing to manage and localize their surroundings.
Creation of the Apple Design of New York's website to inform clients about our services, showcase past projects, and provide contact informations. Performed administrative assistances such as call to purchase raw supplies, contact representatives from other companies to return/exchange/cancel orders, and file reports and receipts electronically.
